RappU Lifelong Learning offers a wide-ranging selection of non-credit just for fun classes taught by volunteer instructors. Held during Spring and Fall semesters, these classes generally cost $20 or $25 each and run for three to seven weeks in length.
Classes are held at the new RappU facility located at 11669 Lee Highway in Sperryville as well as other sites spread throughout Rappahannock County.

RappU Workforce Training currently offers certificate-bearing courses in a variety of healthcare specialties, including:
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
- Home Health Aide
- Medication Technician
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic Life Support
These courses will take place in Summer and Fall of 2017, and will run during the daytime, evenings and weekends depending upon student preferences. Tuition, class fees and other requirements (such as drug screening, criminal background check and immunization records) can be viewed by clicking on the link below.

RappU Will Pay for your Workforce Training!
If you live in Rappahannock County and can successfully complete our application process, you can enroll in the Nurse Aide (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) course FREE OF CHARGE. Your only cost is a $25 application fee.
Charges which RappU will cover for the CNA and HHA programs include:
Application-related expenses – literacy test, Virginia and nationwide criminal background check, drug screen, a physical and required immunizations.
Course fees – tuition, hospital scrubs, textbook and workbook
Testing fees – Virginia CNA certification exam
We will also pay $50 to any applicant who refers a successful applicant to RappU (someone who completes the full screening process and enrolls).
For those outside of Rappahannock that need tuition assistance for RappU, there are options via the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Those that qualify will be young adults ages 17-21 with low income; adults, ages 25 and up with low income; or a dislocated worker, who has been separated from employment and receiving Unemployment assistance.
